Kirei Board is an engineered panel product
constructed from reclaimed stalks of the Sorghum plant which is grown around the world
for food. The stalks left over after harvest are heat-pressed with a
non-toxic adhesive to form lightweight, strong, unique Kirei Board.
Kirei Board is a strong, lightweight, durable and environmentally friendly substitute for wood. It can be used for all interior architectural millwork applications, including:

Kirei
board is manufactured using KR Bond, a water-based polymer-isocyanate
adhesive. Formaldehyde-free KR Bond does not contribute harmful
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) to the indoor atmosphere. Testing
according to Japanese Government standard JIS A 6922-2003 resulted in
0.0 mg/L formaldehyde emissions.
