The Controllable Flush
The Controllable Flush turns your toilet into a dual-flush toilet, allowing you to conserve water and save money. Pull the handle up and you get a standard flush. The controllable flush
is designed to work with toilets with 3.5-, 5- or 7-gallon tanks.
Pulling the handle up utilizes your toilet tank’s full capacity. Push
the handle down and hold for a few seconds and you flush only about 1.5
gallons. Most of the time this is all you need to do to make your
toilet work properly, and by doing so you’ll save hundreds of gallons a
month.
The controllable flush is made for toilets built before 1994 when
low-flow toilets became required in new homes. A common complaint about
low-flow (1.6 gallons per flush) toilets is that sometimes you need to
flush them two or three times to get them to do the job. This defeats
their intended purpose: water conservation. Used correctly, the Controllable Flush can save the average household up to 35,000 gallons a year.
Upgrading your standard toilet with a controllable flush handle will cost you only $29.95 and
it comes with a lifetime-limited warranty.
