Our recycled cotton floor underlayment smoothes out little sub floor imperfections
while quieting impact sound and floor to ceiling noise. Although it is
promoted as an upgrade underlayment taking the place of poly foam, it
doesn't carry a heavy upgrade price when compared to cork or rubber. Some advantages include:

Installation Instructions
1.Be sure the sub floor surface is clean and dry 2.Roll underlayment over the sub floor with the vapor barrier film (blue side) facing up. 3.The perimeter edges of underlayment need to be 1/2 to 3/4 inches away from the wall. 4.Seams need to be butted together flush, do not overlap the pad. Tape
the seams with water and tear resistant, utility-grade, poly-coated
cloth backed tape that has a very aggressive adhesive (duct tape). 5. Install flooring according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
